Making tethered shooting easier

Well, I been reading Scott Kelby's Digital Photography books (all four of them).

Scott introduced me to the concept of "tethering".

What is "tethering"?

It's attaching your camera by USB to your computer (desktop or laptop) and using the bigger display of the computer to review your pictures rather than the LCD panel on the back of the camera.

There are some accessories for sale to make this simpler.

A "most excellent" solution that I just found is called the Tripad.

Yes "Tripad" like tripod but put an "a" in place of the "o".

It's a platform that slips onto your tripod and gives you a surface for your laptop.

But wait, there's more!

It has two pullout surfaces on each side to give you additional space for a mouse or device.

This is brilliantly simple!

Check out this short video and then explore the rest of their web site.
